D.J. Marks has over 20 years of distinguished service in Law Enforcement and the Military in the U.S. and Canada. He was previously the Provincial Use of Force Training Coordinator with the Ministry of Public Safety and Security in Ontario and is currently the National Use of Force & Tactical Training Coordinator at the M.D. Charlton Law Enforcement Training Academy. Mr. Marks is a manufacturer Instructor or Master Instructor certified in the following disciplines:
- CTS Chemical Munitions and Diversionary Devices (Master Instructor) (Only one in Canada certified to deliver Instructor level courses)
- Def Tec Chemical Munitions and Diversionary Devices (Instructor)
- CTS Mechanical and Ballistic Breaching (Master Instructor)
- Tactical Baton (Master Instructor) (one of 4 Masters in Canada)
- PepperBall (Less-Lethal) Launcher (Master Instructor) (Only Master in CND)
- CQB Hand to Hand Combat (Master Instructor)
- Tactical Shotgun (Instructor)
- Basic Security Training & Advanced Security Training (Instructor)

Mr. Marks' primary area of expertise is Tactical Team training programs, from lethal to less-lethal disciplines. He also facilitates training programs for the Military Special Operations Units, Police Public Order Units, and S.W.A.T. Teams (ERT) across Canada and the United States.
